Selfmade Birthday Card for Mummy
Yesterday was my birthday. I was very moody since morning. However, when I came back from my tutorial at around 9.15 pm, i was able to smile a bit. My daughter gave me a birthday card that she made herself.
Yes, my maid Rona told me that she was very very excited when she heard from her dad that today was my birthday, she quickly wanted to make a card for me. She asked Rona, how to write "birthday"? She made the sound herself by using the phonics she learnt, and though it was not 100% right, I had to give her a thumb up for her own effort, despite no guidance from adult. She wrote "Birtday", missing one letter "h". Not bad, huh? For a 4 year old girl who is very creative. Then she asked another question to Rona, how to write "Bless" (i dunno how she got this idea from :)...Rona did not know neither, so she showed her a card that had that word. She then wrote herself.
We all sang birthday song together, clapped hands, and blew the candles. Beth and Charmaine sang the loudest. It was a simple party but was fun.
